Who We Are

Our Church

Words of Life is a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-led church of Jesus Christ. In 1994, God gave Pastor Nathan White the vision for Words of Life Ministries while driving to work. Following that vision, the first service was held in the Pastor and First Lady’s home in Daytona Beach, FL at their kitchen table with one guest.

The first official meeting in St. Augustine was held in the conference room at a Ramada Hotel with four families on April 9, 2006. In 2008, the church’s membership increased and we moved to 1725 Masters Drive which was located in heart of St. Augustine. In 2018, we experienced more growth as the Lord continued to add to the church. As a result, we moved again to our current location. Since that humble beginning, God has birthed several ministries and initiatives through the church and through the vision of Pastor White.

The Vision

The vision that God has given Words of Life Ministries is to have authentic worship, sound biblical instruction that build disciples, and empowers people to live in total victory and prosperity.

What We Believe

God

We believe there is one God; the triune God—eternally existent and manifested in three persons: Almighty Father, Divine Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the incarnation of the Father, born of a virgin, the very God for whom and by whom all things were created. We believe Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died for the salvation of mankind, and was resurrected from the dead.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Divine person-hood of the Holy Spirit and His present day ministry to believers. We believe the Holy Spirit’s present day ministry includes the sovereign distribution of spiritual gifts to believers for empowerment and for service in the church.

The Bible

We believe in the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God as the only rule of faith, and the guide for living as the final and definitive authority in a believers life. We believe the Bible is the indisputable and ultimate authority of the revelation of God, His will, and His way.

Authority Over the Enemy

We believe in the authority of the believer over the enemy, Satan, and we believe in the victory to be gained by the believer through the exercise of that authority.

Church Ordinances

We believe in water baptism and Holy Communion as ordinances of the church to be observed as public declarations of salvation through Jesus and in commendation of his death, burial, and resurrection in victory over Satan, death, hell and the grave.
